“Paper Writing” A Haiku
Words, words, where are you?
I can’t think of you, please help!
I just want to sleep.

I have yet to start writing my paper. Oh well, at least I’m consistent in my procrastination.
Also, on an entirely random note: new Avengers trailer= awesome. Check it out on itunes!
Signs You’re a Poli Sci Student:
Friend was being lazy and didn’t want to go buy milk for his KD. My response?
“Fine, I will Hobbes this up for you: Leviathan says go buy milk or he will unleash the wrath of the KDless state upon you.”
Oh, Thomas Hobbes. You and your crazy Leviathan, being all tyrannous.
Yeah, I know. I’m THAT lame. Deal with it.
…this is what I do instead of writing papers.
Brothers
My dear brothers in Christ, this is my prayer for you:
May you be strong. May you always know how fiercely and unendingly you are loved. By we your sisters, but more importantly, by your Father.
May you never be afraid to reach out and claim that which the Lord has prepared to be given to you. May you never be hindered by the doubts and lies of this world. May you always know that they do not, and never will, define your worth.
May you treasure us sisters as we treasure you. I ask that you would treat us with the gentleness, the kindness that we deserve. Do this so that we may in turn help build you to be the men of action and faith that you were created to be. The relationships that we form together are truly gifts from our Creator, and this is why it so important that we honour each other before Him. Know that we don’t look at you and expect you to be perfect. We love you for who you are. It’s not about looking or acting a certain way. We love you because you are so wonderfully unique. We appreciate each individual quirk that you have, and revel in those that we share with you. Never feel as though there is some mould that you must fit in order to win our affections. All we ask is that you love us for who we are, and use that love to help us become stronger women in the Lord. Love us in a way that makes you worthy of the title ‘Beloved’, and we will do the same.
Brothers, do not be afraid or made weary by the troubles of this world. There are so many things waiting to come against us, but you are strong enough to overcome. Know that you are never alone in your struggles, and never hesitate to turn to those who can support you when you need it. Do not be ashamed when you stumble, or even if you fall. Instead, fix your eyes back upon your God, and cling tight to His hand so He may pull you back to your feet.
Most of all, I pray that you would hear His calling for your life. May His will guide you in your walk. May you rest assured in His promise. Where others-even your loving sisters-may fail you, he never will.
Amen
